22 June 09 - Entering into siang 14 days at school. This morning everything went real smooth, siang show sign of starting to wake up earlier (which is a + sign). He still cried when entering the classroom. But after a while he settle down.
23 June 09 - Everything went quite smooth but siang vomitted in the school (teacher say he vomit after some slight cough).
After school at ah ma house. Ah Ma realised siang eyelid (left top) got one bump and immediately call me. One check with the helper and she confirm its after school then siang got that bump
I went real fierce. Put down the phone with my maid, I immediately rang the school and spoke to the form teacher and asked for a explanation! She rang me back quite promptly and told me this morning when siang was about to go to the toile (or in the toilet) he trip and bang his head but after some gentle check, he stop his cry and he was ok. I remind the teacher about the need of safety of the little kids and she say they will be very mind ful (of which i say they should be) and i feedback saying that no matter is small incident or otherwise, the teacher should immediately tell the parents when we pick up our kids to which the form teacher apologies for not informing us first and Siang hurt his head which is critical area.
I wrote in the communication book (later at night). "Please be mindful about the kids safety in the school. All incidents should be reported immediately to prevent any miscommunciation of the teacher and the parents. I stated re siang bump on the upper left eyelid, i will monitor if there is a need for treatement, i will claim insurance from the school. Thank you" and stated my Handphone again.
Siang eye lid bump seem ok... i will monitor.
24 June 09 - It was a dark stormy morning. Siang woke up real early (around 6am) and was in average good mood. I check the eye and seem ok so decide to send him to school.
Siang reach school at 8am. Today he manage to finish one plate of fried mee hoon (worhhoo!). still not drinking the milk provided by the school :p
25 June 09 - our household went upside down. Siang did not go to school today and he spend whole day at ah ma house with 3rd yi yi and xuan ling and xuan min. fun :))
26 June 09 - such a good start for the morning (i woke siang up around 7am). Had his breakfast and we were off on the road by 7.50am. Siang reach school at 8am and Papa Yeo send me to office

yes, agreed that schools shd inform of any accidents to parents. What we parents really worry about are those accidents. I still remember when I worked in childcare before, wow, a boy also fall in the toilet and had a cut on his forehead!

Yes thats why i wrote the comments (not meaning to critise the teacher or whichever) to ascertain the importance of the teacher keeping the parents inform of all incident/accidents (which could be quite so called common in school - cc etc as kids are by natural active)
