It all started on wed (9 Dec 09). We noticed that Siang seem to have a bit of runny nose but decide to monitor for a while.
Thursday, 10 Dec 09 after his school, i notice Siang is a bit warm. Night came and indeed he is feverish. we brought him to see a nearby GP. Was given some flu medication and we headed home
Friday, 11 Dec 09 (early morning around 4am), siang woke up coughing badly and soon the barking sound came out. we rush to KKH and indeed its Croup.
We decide to admitted him so that the ENT doctor can come to see him.
The lung specialist (Dr Jenny Tang) also came to visit him in the ward and we were told that his lung is clear, shall review with her on 21 Dec 09.
Discharged well on 12 Dec 09. With a follow up with the lung doctor and ENT doctor on Jan 2010. Accordinly to the ward, lung and ENT doctor, they may have to re-review siang airway with a scope but we will be advised accordinly during the Jan 2010 appointment with the ENT doctor.

hope siang gets well soon. dash is also down with cough very frequently, like once a month...sigh, really wonder how to get our kids well and strong!

thanks :) Siang is better now (with some slight dry cough).
I intend to try TCM if not, shall try to seek 2nd opinion for siang croup issue.
hopefully, all it takes is for them to outgrow it.
