Ginger Bread Man

Posted by Mama Yeo

We came to know about this show @ Sentosa this season :). verdict? definitely thumbs up for children of 2- 6 years old! http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/whats-on/events/year-end-holidays/

Year-End School Holidays - Enter the fascinating world of Gingerbread Man this school holidays!

Storytelling Comes Alive!
Date: 9 Dec 2010 – 2 Jan 2011
Time: 11am – 7pm daily
Venue: Images of Singapore Forecourt

Enjoy the interactive Story Time with Mervyn Goh using giant story books, puppetry and characters coming alive. Grab your chance to be up close and personal with The Gingerbread Man. Get your cameras ready for a photo taken with him. Catch them at 11.30am, 2.30pm & 5.30pm (we went for this timing) every Thu – Sun.

Come visit the Giant Gingerbread Man House made from dough and recyclable materials from the kitchen. Make sure you don’t get too hungry while in it! Learn how to make Christmas Ornaments or Childrens' Aprons using recycled PVC banner at Gingerbread Man’s Workshop (we did not do any of this :p).

See the tag on Siang's neck? that was a gift for him from the gingerbread man (he went on stage to sing - jingle bell)

We also went to take our first ride Skyline Luge Sentosa http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions/imbiah-lookout/sentosa-luge-skyride/

Part go-cart, part toboggan, the Luge offers a truly unique outdoor experience suitable for all ages that is not found anywhere else in Singapore or Southeast Asia.

Giving you full control, navigate down 650 metres of the Jungle Trail or 688 metre of the Dragon Trail as thrillingly fast or cruising slow as you like. After Luge, board the Skyride and take in the fantastic panoramic scenery of the city skyline and beautiful coastline. Truly an experience not to be missed.

As darkness settles, a whole brand-new adventure awaits you. Thrill-seekers will discover a different challenge while manoeuvring down each track with unique lightings. On the Skyride, enjoy a breathtaking view of Singapore as the city skyline and harbour transform into a dazzling city of lights at night.
