Kent Ridge Park & Bowl of Mee

Siang woke up this morning at 8am and Papa Yeo thought it would be a good idea to bring siang to the Park for a walk :). We set off to Kent Ridge Park (which is only 20 mins drive from our house) right after siang had his breakfast.

With a size of 47 hectares, this park offers you the most magnificent views of the off-shore islands such as the Pulau Duran Darat. Filled with Tembusu, Acacias and Dillenias trees, you will certainly enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of the park, away from the hustle and bustle of city living. Calling all fitness enthusiasts, Kent Ridge Park offers a total number of 20 fitness stations! Put on your protective gears and let's go inline skating in the park! Nature lovers will certainly enjoy the nature trail, invigorate yourselves for a 280 metres long canopy walk. This bridge which is linked to Kent Ridge Park and to the museum, Reflections of Bukit Chandu, which also caters to the elderly and physically challenged. You will see sunbirds, doves, squirrels, and lizards. Interestingly pitcher plants and wild orchids are found along the trail. Signages are put up to provide educational information on the various plants for a learning experience. A natural pond filled with turtles and fish, such as the Japanese Koi. Kent Ridge Park is one of the last battles for Singapore which dominated the harbour. To commemorate of the 50th Anniversary of the end of World War II, a plaque was installed in 1992. To provide points of interest, two decommissioned M114 Artillery Guns and an AMX 13 Light Tank in the Army's adoption park , The Army Green Park.

Later in the afternoon, after siang had his afternoon nap and his dinner, we again toke the bus to Jurong Point (again haha) but this time , Papa Yeo saw this JW Lailai noodle restaurtant, the wan tan mee is really not bad :p.
